
Brian Roe
Lead singing, acoustic guitar, percussion and special musical effects
Brian is a dynamic singer and percussionist with deep roots in soul music and classic rock. Raised in Toronto and now a 40-year veteran of British Columbia’s music scene, he has performed for audiences across the province in a wide range of cover bands, earning a reputation for powerful vocals and engaging stage presence.
From 2017 to 2024, Brian served as lead vocalist for The Distractions, performing extensively throughout Southern Vancouver Island and helping the band earn multiple Best Local Band awards. With decades of experience and a lifelong passion for live performance, Brian brings both polish and heart to every stage he steps on.

Gary Boylan
Lead singing, lead guitar
Gary has played guitar and sung professionally since the age of 16. He has played in numerous pop/rock groups throughout the years. The Thrips, The Pleasant Pack, Be-Complex and Colourfield to name a few.
One of his most successful outings was his portrayal of Paul McCartney in the long running theatrical Beatles tribute show Rubber Soul: The Beatles Experience (1999 – 2005). A stage production that recreated the Fab Fours hits in authentic costumes and with vintage instruments. He is also no stranger to the recording studio having written original music over the years as well.

Larry Del Mistro
Keyboards
Born and raised in Windsor—a.k.a. South Detroit by some—Larry grew up less than 10 km from Hitsville, USA, soaking in Motown grooves and Classic Rock. A multi‑instrumentalist, he’s been blending genres and chasing new sounds since his first paying gig over 50 years ago at age 16.
Over the decades, he’s shared the stage with an ever‑changing cast of musicians, bringing seasoned musicianship to cover bands, wedding celebrations, and corporate events. Whether he’s laying down a groove, adding sparkle or texture to a melody, or driving the rhythm that keeps a dance floor alive, Larry shows up with heart, humour, professionalism, and a lifelong love of making people move.

Paul Clarke
Drums
Paul began his drumming journey in Vancouver’s explosive 1980s live music scene, where he forged the power, precision & commanding stage presence that define his playing today.
Now driving the heartbeat of Flashback! – Paul previously propelled the band The Distractions through major Southern Vancouver Island events, including the Saanich Fair, Government House, Cops4Cancer & Ribfest.
With a deep love for legendary dance hits and a performance style built to ignite any room, Paul delivers the pulse that fuels everything from massive festival crowds to intimate private events – turning every show into a full-throttle celebration.

Rob Correia
Bass Guitar
Rob has been playing guitar and bass for almost 40 years, with a focus on blues and rock music. Growing up in the Okanagan, he started playing in local groups while still in high school and has since performed in various local combos and cover bands across the Victoria region.
With a practical band-first approach that centers on serving the music, Rob brings decades of experience and a a genuine passion for live performance. He’s happiest on stage when the energy clicks, where the band and the crowd are feeding off each other and everyone in the room is locked into the music together.
A dedicated gear enthusiast, Rob enjoys preparing and setting up for gig almost as much as performing.
